Add To Calendar (ICS File Generator)

You can now use our Lovable ICS Generator app to create a custom Add to calendar link (ICS file link) and include it in your Ventla Invite confirmation email.

Step 1. Generate the ICS file link

1. Open https://ventla-ics-generator.lovable.app/ in a desktop browser.

2. Fill in all the event details you want included.

3. Click Copy ICS File Link to copy the link.

👉 You can also:

• Download the ICS file to check its contents.

• Copy the Edit Link to avoid retyping details if you’re testing or creating a new draft.

Step 2. Add the link to your Invite confirmation email

1. In the Ventla admin, open your event and go to: Invite → Invitation Manager → Configure emails

2. Choose the Confirmation email (for either Free/Non-ticketed or Paid/Ticketed events).

1. In the email editor:

• Write your prompt text (e.g., "Add to calendar")

• Highlight it and click the link icon

• Paste the URL from the Lovable app into the URL field

• Click Save

1. Send yourself a preview email to confirm the link looks correct and works properly.

Of course, the link can be included in any Invite email type.

FAQ

Why a link and not an attachment?

Attachments cannot currently be added to Invite emails. That’s why the ICS file needs to be included as a link.
