Please note: This article only applies to clients using a Ventla White Label app. If you’re using the Ventla container app, these instructions do not apply.
Many of our customers currently have their white-label apps listed under Ventla’s Google Play account. This sometimes creates problems—for example, Google may reject a new or updated version of your app if they believe we lack permission to publish content containing your intellectual property (e.g., name, logo, etc.).
To resolve this and ensure we can continue updating your app quickly and easily, we have decided it’s best if your app is published under your own Google Play Developer account rather than ours. If your organization does not already have a Google Play Developer account, we encourage you to create one today. There’s no rush, but you will be asked to do so soon. For more information, please see the article here.
In the meantime, if you don’t have your own Google Play account yet, we need your help completing and returning the below document. This document serves as proof that Ventla is authorized to publish an app on your behalf, using your name, logo, and other intellectual property.
Click to download.
Download the template above.
Replace all instances of “Company Y” or “Y” (highlighted in yellow) with your own company name (e.g., “Example, Inc.” and “Example”).
Print and sign the document at the bottom. Include your full name, email and phone number (incl. country code).
Scan the signed document and email it to delivery@ventla.io.
Once we receive your signed document, we will submit it to the App Store and Google Play.
If you have any questions, please reach out to support@ventla.io. We’re always happy to help!
